On April 25^th, Conlon & Dunn had a great group in the office, including Ambassador Ertharin Cousin and Cook County Commissioner Michael Cabonargi, for the Vote Mama Lunch & Learn. After learning that every female congressional candidate with kids under two years old lost in 2018, Liuba Grechen Shirley launched Vote Mama, an organization dedicated to helping women with children run for office. Shirley lost her 2018 race against Republican Peter King (NY-02) by a narrow margin but made history by petitioning the Federal Election Commission and winning approval to use campaign funds for childcare for her two kids.
