About
Gina is a Fulbright-honored Wall Street dealmaker who has guided more than $10 billion in high-stakes M&A and capital-markets transactions at top law firms including Davis Polk, Paul Weiss, and Mayer Brown. Her work includes Authentic Brands Group’s headline acquisitions of Brooks Brothers and Lucky Brand and the $3.9 billion sale of Advanced Accelerator Applications to Novartis, crowned IFLR Europe’s “M&A Deal of the Year.” Gina has advised Fortune 10 companies, trailblazing startups, and women and minority-founded private equity and venture capital funds on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic matters.
A first-generation immigrant raised on Chicago’s South Side, Gina built her early career at Conlon Public Strategies before law school, and the firm is thrilled to welcome her back as a senior advisor. In this role, she will support clients advance strategic growth, organizational development, and mission-aligned partnerships—all while leading One Ally, the boutique firm she founded to deliver elite, compassion- centered counsel to mission-focused and ambitious founders. Through her experiences of being raised by her single mother in Chicago, Gina is deeply committed to elevating women and minority-owned businesses and building a community of mission-driven leaders devoted to creating lasting impact.
Beyond the boardroom, Gina started her career in community building and climate advocacy, first through a Fulbright research grant where she studied community rebuilding efforts in the aftermath of the 2008 Sichuan Earthquakes, and later working alongside grassroots organizations in Asia on water and soil protection, leading her to help start one of Southwest China’s first regenerative farms and farmers’ collectives. Recognized as a “25 Under 25 Future Leader to Watch” in U.S.–China relations by China Hands Magazine at Yale University, she pairs global perspective with grassroots heart to help organizations braid capital efficiency with community impact.
