We are incredibly proud of Conlon Public Strategies Senior Advisor Griselda Garibay, who has achieved national recognition for her work to improve heath equity and outcomes. The American Cancer Society presented Griselda with its Development Award for Excellence in DE&I at its 2025 National Leadership Summit. In the words of ACS, “What do breaking barriers, building bridges, and making an impact in the fight against cancer have in common? That would be the extraordinary Griselda Garibay, MBA, MPS of Conlon Public Strategies. Griselda is a driving force for diversity, equity, and inclusion for the American Cancer Society—using her leadership to create meaningful opportunities for all, and we could not have been more excited to name her the recipient of the Development Award for Excellence in DE&I.”

In addition to the Development Award, Griselda was recently named to the board of the American Cancer Society – Illinois. In this new role, she will continue her work on behalf of patients and families affected by cancer and have an even greater impact.
