Conlon Public Strategies Senior Vice President Linda Shapiro has been a Leadership Greater Chicago Fellow since 1993, and, in that role, she has helped to organize a day-long colloquium, “Health:  Equity and Care,” for the current class of Fellows. The event, which will take place on February 4,^th will explore inequities in the healthcare system and how to address them, as well as examine how the COVID-19 pandemic affected healthcare in Chicago. Linda will serve as “session dean” with Andy Van Wieren, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Esperanza Health Centers, and she will moderate a behavioral health panel discussions featuring Mark Ishaug, CEO, Thresholds, and Grace Hou, Secretary of Illinois Department of Human Services.
