Celebrating 125 Years of the Irish Fellowship Club

For 125 years, the Irish Fellowship Club of Chicago has brought people together through friendship, service and a shared love of Chicago and Irish heritage.

That history is especially meaningful to us at Conlon Public Strategies. Our President, Kevin Conlon, is proud to have served as the Club’s 115th President and to be part of a tradition that has meant so much to generations of Chicagoans.

It was wonderful to see the Club’s anniversary and the historical connection between Ireland and Chicago celebrated by Brian Cahalane, the consul general of Ireland in Chicago, and Pádraig Manning, the vice consul, in their recent opinion piece in the Chicago Tribune. As covered by WGN News, the celebration continues on September 17th at Theater on the Lake, where former Irish Taoiseach Enda Kenny will join the Club as a special guest for its 125th Anniversary Celebration.

Congratulations to the Irish Fellowship Club and everyone who has been part of its remarkable 125-year history.
