One of the CCBA’s most esteemed honors, the award recognizes a lawyer or layperson for distinguished service as the head of a community organization. The award will be presented at the CCBA’s 112th Installation & Awards Banquet on Friday, June 26, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

It is a fitting honor for someone whose career has been devoted to community. As executive director of the IMPACT Leadership Development Program and senior vice president of leadership programming and philanthropy at the Chicago Urban League, Kafi develops leaders and strengthens the institutions that serve Chicago, and she brings that same dedication to the nonprofits she advises at Conlon Public Strategies.
