On Monday, November 20th, Congresswoman Robin Kelly toured UCAN’s facility in Riverdale with CEO Christa Hamilton. Through the Congresswoman’s office, UCAN received funding to improve the facility, a former bank building in need of basic repair. Congresswoman Kelly engaged with the UCAN teams leading their violence prevention and intervention programs for the South Suburbs. She also met with UCAN leaders supporting pregnant and parenting teens as they prepare to transition out of the child welfare system.
