Erie Family Health Centers Featured in New York Times Article

In a recent story, The New York Times used the experiences of doctors and patients at Erie Family Health Centers to illustrate how the American Rescue Plan Act caused dramatic price increases of certain prescriptions . Due to complicated pricing structures and laws, provisions of ARPA designed to lower prescription costs had the unintended consequence of actually increasing the cost of prescriptions for some patients served by health clinics focused on low-income populations.
