About
A Chicago native and University of Michigan Ross School of Business student, Sydney offers several years of experience working with nonprofits, most notably with High Jump, the Chicago organization dedicated to supporting academically gifted, under- resourced middle-school students. A High Jump alum herself, Sydney has stayed close to the program’s mission, serving first as a teaching assistant and now as an alumni relations intern.
At the University of Michigan, Sydney is a campus leader. She is part of Phi Beta Lambda, the professional business fraternity, where she has advanced through a series of leadership roles – new member class president, marketing chair, and internal professional development chair – and currently serves as VP of strategy. She has also worked as a consultant with Spark Social Impact Consulting, a student organization offering free consulting services to small businesses and nonprofits. In addition, Sydney contributes to The Michigan Daily on its CTI Professional Development team, mentors fellow students as a BA 100 Peer Mentor, and has represented her class on the BBA Council. Sydney brings the skills and experience earned through these roles to her work at Conlon Public Strategies.
