UCAN Launches New Violence Prevention Program

UCAN has once again expanded its tremendous work in community violence prevention with Reach 21, a new program aimed at guiding young men from high-risk neighborhoods to reach the age of 21. The January 9th launch of the program was featured on CBS News and attended by U.S. Representative Robin Kelly and Alders Stephanie Coleman (16th) and Peter Chico (10th). The program will serve boys as young as nine years old and support them through their 21st birthdays, helping them to make changes necessary to reach their goals and fostering resilience, courage, and achievement.
