Conlon Public Strategies is pleased to announce that Patrick Crawford has joined the firm as a senior advisor. A nationally recognized expert on disaster resilience and sustainability issues, Patrick has more than 30 years of executive experience in government, nonprofit management, and the private sector. Prior to joining Conlon Public Strategies, Patrick served as senior director of disaster services at Feeding America, where he led disaster preparedness, capacity building, and relief efforts.
In addition to his work at Feeding America, Patrick has held key leadership positions at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). After leaving FEMA, he joined a consulting firm founded by former FEMA Director James Lee Witt. As a consultant, Patrick provided strategic government affairs, lobbying/advocacy and public relations advice to clients in the areas of homeland security and public safety. A Notre Dame graduate, Patrick began his career as an educator, teaching high school government and US history in the Washington, DC, area, where he also earned a M.Ed. from Loyola University Maryland.
