Conlon Public Strategies Helps the Haymarket Center Reinvent Annual Gala

Like many nonprofits, Haymarket’s plans for its annual fundraising gala were threatened by COVID-19 this year.  With the gala date quickly approaching, Haymarket enlisted the Conlon Public Strategies team to help creatively adapt the gala for a virtual environment, and together they created the “Virtual West Loop Fest 2020.” Featuring Cook Count Board President Toni Preckwinkle and 27th Ward Alderman Walter Burnett, the event raised important funds and awareness of Haymarket’s comprehensive substance abuse treatment programs, which serve over 12,000 clients per year, regardless of their ability to pay.
